About Me
Hi! I finished my masters in September 2016 and rather than heading off into adult life straight away I decided I would take some time out to go travelling *insert cliche about discovering myself, gap years, etc etc* Genuinely though, I was in that post uni time of not really knowing what to do (still haven't figured that out yet), but I have wanted to travel properly for such a long time, so that's my plan! So I've been working hard and saving up, and now I’m on the road!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet local people from the country I’m travelling in. I love hostels but there’s nothing like getting local advice from people who live where you’re visiting.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a pretty varied taste in music, but generally indie, instrumental, oldies or house and techno for a night out. With films I also like loads of stuff, but I especially like watching horror to scare myself. And books, my family have great taste in books so I tend to borrow all kinds of stuff from them.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
5 days of trekking in beautiful Peru.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you about British culture and recommend lots of hilarious sitcoms or comedians if you're into comedy! Also I’m pretty good on British TV recommendations. I want to learn about different cultures from local people. I’m happy to share meals, although I don’t eat meat, but I do eat fish.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We can share a meal, maybe some wine, or some sweet treats.
