About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To save the world (and make new friends) at the UN Intersessionals in Bonn, Germany!
ABOUT ME
I have just finished my studies in English Literature and French, and am now going out into the world! My best time at university was spending a year enjoying the sunshine and the buzz of an Erasmus year in Montpellier, France. Living abroad was an amazing experience, and I loved getting to know people from all across the world, with whom I have been lucky enough to share experiences, stories and attitudes towards the world.
PHILOSOPHY
I think you have to aim to keep on learning - there is so much to know, why ever stop? I think the best way to learn is through throwing yourself into new situations and experiences and talking to the people you meet through this - a smile and an eagerness to listen and be interested goes a long way!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I enjoy meeting up with people keen to share language skills or people visiting a place I'm living in to show them round and get to meet someone who can tell a good story, share an interesting opinion, give me another perspective.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I joined CouchSurfing to find language exchange partners to improve my French, but from that intial goal I found that meeting people from different backgrounds and countries was a much richer experience than just improving language skills. During my year abroad, I also went to various CouchSurfing events to try new things out with an outgoing, supportive group - including hiking and origami!
