Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

2014 Tramping from Cologne to Paris over night. This was a very extreme One. We arrived in Paris 4 am in the night. Driving the last three hours with a person who just spoke French and Arabic. He was talking to us, and we didn´t understood a word! Nevertheless we trusted him.

2014 I was visiting Derren Browns Show "Infamous" in London. Great experience. I even got hypnotised by him! Two weeks i was wandering around in London, talking to strangers, speaking with the homeless and painting on the street.

2013 I surfed with my friend Leah in the Netherlands. It was just great we drove by bike from the border through many towns and cities till we finally reached Amsterdam. Then we kind of get stuck there and decided to stay and drive home with the train^^

I got a lot more stories to tell but it makes more fun to tell them properly.

Interests

I´m interested in the making of films, theater, juggling, hiking, laughing, writing, playing the guitar, piano, drums, psychological knowledge, and of course drawing and painting

Music, Movies, and Books

Tim Burton Movies (Big FIsh, Edward Scisssorhands, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) , Harry Potter (at my eleventh birthday i waited for my letter arriving, i know its just a story but if there could be any possibility.. that if.. maybe.), Jurassic Park (how they had done this! Giant Animatronics and Raptor suits!) , Vincent Price Movies, really old Horror Movies ( that does´nt count as horror: " Oh, My God! A big bad wolf is going to eat me!" -A golden Retriever runs through the view..and such things^^), Edgar Allan Poe, Pixar Movies (A Bug´s Life, Shrek, Monsters, Inc, some Disney Movies (King of the Lion, Tarzan) every kind of music ( classic, and Rock, 80s etc.) it depends on my mood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The feeling when you finally reached a city after hours of biking, wrong -way driving and sunburns is just overwhelming.

In Den Haag we, other Couchsurfers and our host, swam in the sea and picnicked into the sunset, that was wonderful.

Painting on the street in London (Camden) as my Bank Card stopped working.

hitchhiking home from Linz to Brunswiek, meeting Thomas in Munich, no car was driving to Brunswiek at 1 o´clock in the morning. So together to Berlin. Sleeping on the highest floor in Berlin Kreuzberg. Sleeping on our bagpacks. After five minutes we heard footsteps on the stairs. He taps me on the shoulder: "LOUISA! Louisa! Someone is coming up the stairs!" - "I know. Be quiet..."
And all i thought was: Don´t let them come up to us…we were so tired.. please don´t let them come to us..
The light went on. And a gay couple came up the last stairs:
The first one looked at us in surprise: "Hahaha!^^ That is making my day really brighter!"
"Please can we just stay here?"i mumbled through my scarf.
A pause. " Well".. he looked to his partner.. "do you guys need some mattrasses or blankets?" he grinned at us.
WE were so surprised. We awaited to we shooed away, and instead we´ve got a save an warm place to stay.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach everybody how to juggle with anything^^ oranges, cellphones, bottles and of course juggling balls ;)

And the basis of playing Guitar, Piano and drums :)
