ABOUT ME

I'm a 27 years old guy and I love cooking, especially sweet stuff! I'm interested in all subjects that can have a bond with cooking and eating but also many other things, I guess I'm curious. Something that I am fascinated about is old traditions and ways of life.
I finished my studies 5 years ago and have been traveling since then. I got to spend some time working and exploring in Scotland, New Zealand and Scandinavia. Now, I live in Åre, in a nice chalet with a beautiful view on the mountains.
I play guitar, I like music, reading and being in the wild.

PHILOSOPHY

Travel around the world to discover new cultures, observe how people adapt to their land, learning new cooking skills and recipes to open my own restaurant and cook a healthy, wild and pure cuisine, influenced by my discoveries. Yeah !

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I finally live somewhere where I can host people so I am very happy to give back what I received. I live with Barbara, a colleague at work and friend. We'll be very happy to host you here. Also, if you're around Åre and want to meet up, just send a message and I can show you around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed mainly as I didn't have my own home, always had good experiences, sharing meals and drinks and chats. It is always good to have the local's advice.

Taking the step to hitchhike/couchsurf, it opens to so much and made me more spontaneous.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach french cuisine and play guitar ! ;)
We can go around and forage in the summer, share hikes, go skiing
I'm happy to learn anything about science, nature, manual crafts...

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer my cooking experience, recipes and share my love of cooking and baking.
I can help for any domestic tasks obviously, teach guitar playing (at least at the level I'm at) or French and I think I can talk to you because I'm interested in many subjects.
