About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Before the hard terms of life will definetly start I want to visit new places, meet People from different cultures and try to learn more about myself and the Person I´d like to be.

ABOUT ME

Hallo, hello, buenos diaz, buon giorno and a heel goede dag!
I´m Louisa, a 21-year-old girl from Recklinghausen, Western Germany.
I love dancing, playing the piano (even I´m not THAT good), hanging around with friends or go clubbing until the sun wishes you a good morning.
I can be such a lazy girl but I will never stop being interested in new stuff.
Actually I am living with two lovely syrian boys in a commune, teaching them some german and they give me some arab back.
In general I´m a person who doesn´t need that much to be happy. I just realised that material things can´t give me experiences which travel does. I started sorting stuff out, donated and sold many things just to throw off all that ballast.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is for people who really want to see the place they are visiting. Meanwhile this community is so big that everyone has the chance to get a place to be. I love the spirit of sharing room, time and thoughts, even when you´re not having the same opinion, there is much space to discuss about god and the world.
My first CS experience wasn´t that great but I will give it another chance because people are different and everyone has to get the same chance!

Interests

ABOUT DANCING
I started dancing classic ballet when I was 6 years old. Until I was 16 i changes my dancing school for once and was a solo dancer in the end. I broke up with this hobby because i realised that it stopped me in my development as a middle-puberty-girl. So I started to meet new people, went out at weekends, drank my beer and was on my way to be a grown-up. In 2016 I went to a contemporary dance workshop in my old dancing school and saw that this is a hobby I will always do and that dancing is the best way to shake off all the negativity in my life.

ABOUT ACTING
I never thought that I would be that much into acting.
It started when the expliment exchange took me into a measure to get a job. It was so boring and I felt like a genie when i went into class because all we did was drawing mandalas and counting from 1 to 10 (no not really but it felt like, p.s. the mandala thing is true!).
Then I changed to the theater class and we developed an own script out of improvisation theater and were perfoming it at one of the biggest theater festivals in Europe, the Ruhrfestspiele in my hometown Recklinghausen.
Since then I changed to another theater group, were acting at an international theater festival in Austria and now we are bookd until next year.
Because of this rising passion I decided to study theater sciences and I was so excited when I was getting THE email that I have been accepted at Ruhr-Universität Bochum, I can´t wait to be a student!

Music, Movies, and Books

The most beloved movie i have ever watched is "into the wild". It is so realistic and the fact that this Story is true makes it more beautiful.

The best book I have ever read is "Ein ganzes halbes Jahr" by Jojo Moyes. It´s about a girl who has a deal with a paralyzed boys parents because he wants to die. So the girl has the chance to change his mind in 6 months and- you have to find out the rest by yourself ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw the ocean glowing at night with people I met few hours before on holiday at the northern sea in germany. It was so fantastic and stuff like money and material things weren´t necessary at that time. It was so beautiful I nearly started to cry because that was a moment I realised that I have to see more beautiful things like this and I want to share and talk about those moments.

Teach, Learn, Share

In general I would say I´m a calm person and specially at work I can see, that I have a positive effect to someone. I like to share positive spirits and thoughts, want to talk about really deep themes and silly bullshit, always try to learn something new about places, people, histories and cultures and be open minded to share everything I know.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Although I am not the best cooker, I love to experiment with foods and recipes and be never against new stuff!
Furthermore I will never say no to a nights out or a tourists tour.
I´m open minded and just take what I get.
