ABOUT ME
I joined Couchsurfing while traveling abroad in 2012, I arrived in Taiwan as a blogger for the SayTaiwan Centennial Celebration Youth Week Homestay, put on by the Taiwanese government. I studied at Southern Taiwan Univ of Science and Tech, studied Chinese and found work teaching English.
Now, I've returned to my hometown of San Francisco. I am tidy, clean, punctual, responsible, and respectful of others, and would like to find "couches" and/or Surfers with the same qualities. I am an enthusiastic traveler, always looking for ways to keep the smiles going, and make new connections among good people. Hope to meet you!
PHILOSOPHY
Do unto others as you wish to be done unto you.....or something to that affect.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
While living in San Diego, with fellow Couchsurfer Vince Yeh, I hosted two dozen different couchsurfers over the years. Some were more interesting than others, but all were good experiences.
The Best CS experiences involve cultural exchange on a local level, which allows both the coucher and the surfer to expand their understanding of the world, and MOST IMPORTANTLY have fun hosting and traveling, respectively.
