Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We have a guest room and would like to host people and stay with people when traveling.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I stayed on a couch while traveling in Italy once. I stayed on a mattress in a gym in an orphanage in Mexico. I've had all sorts of roommate arrangements. My wife lived in a working women's hostel for some time in Mumbai.
Interests
We read, have friends over for dinner, do home improvement projects, garden and watch TED Talks or movies among other things. We're into fitness and cook at home most dinners.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books and more books. I read mostly non-fiction and my wife reads mostly fiction.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Most people I've met think it's interesting that I was an army medic and went to Afghanistan. I have mixed feelings about that now. My wife used to rescue children from trafficking in Mumbai.
Teach, Learn, Share
People often ask me about health and fitness. My wife is a great cook and mostly cooks Indian food. I built a tiny house. I studied urban design, real estate, GIS, economic development, city planning, architecture, public participation, and social gaming.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Cooking, light home repairs or cleaning.
