About Me
ABOUT ME
I frequently visit galleries and museums. I read a lot of franco-belgian graphic novels. Enjoy contemporary dance, theater, music. In my formative years (as if it's not finished!) I spent a lot of time discussing and thinking about politics. I'm a bit more in retreat with the news of the world today. I try to live as much with good moral standards on a personnal basis than militating for a cause. Even though politics have ways to get you to protest publicly when climate, people, are at stakes. I bike as much as I can: it's the most free and enjoyable transport there is. I'm beginning to know a lot about craft beer. I gave lectures and animated regular and blind tastings, I do a radio show about Belgian brewers and blenders. As much as I enjoy sharing discussion about beer and sharing actual beers (my Belgian cellar is getting pretty good), I like to keep it clean: after all, you can't correctly taste something when you're drunk, can you?
I'm a calm, tall, sometimes shy, enormously curious, empathetic, caring person. There is not a lot of second degree with me: I say what I mean and I hope that people tell me what they really think.
PHILOSOPHY
Don't have a doctrine, that's my doctrine.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I knew that a friend were hosting people, and I thought it is a good idea to share different views on the world, different knowledge, different experience.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first experience with CS was with a 73-year-old-lady in Seattle in 2008, and it was her first experience too. She told me about her first travel, fifty years before mine! She sang, we had tea. It was perfect.
