Overview
About Me
I'm half French, half German, grew up in Germany, lived in Mexico for 16 month where I did a voluntary year and came back to Germany, Bavaria (Regensburg) to study political science. Now I am glad to begin an Erasmus semester in Rome!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travelling without knowing people from the respective country is not travelling. It's just visiting architecture ;)
Interests
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu takes a lot of time in my life, beside the studies of course (yes, I like them too!)... ;) Training with the girls (and boys) in Regensburg is amazing. I am interested to MMA and the UFC.
Meeting friends to cook and have a glass of wine or going out are also elementary components of my week. I love the mexican, the french and italian culture, i love to speak spanish and to analyze differences and common things between languages. Obviously I love to travel and discover new things, places and people!

Music, Movies, and Books
I sing in a classic choir, so i like classic, but also electronic and rock music (one of my favourite bands is radiohead).
I am not able to name a favourite book because there are so many (classical dilemma, the same for music...). Examples: The Sorrows of Young Werther, Hector and the Search for Happiness, Pride and Prejudice, The Odyssey, The Teachings of Don Juan, Molieres works...
I don't know so many movies due to the fact that I cannot see violence/blood/bombs/ explosions (yeah, i know this is contradictory with the MMA-thing). No, I have not seen The Godfather, Inglorious Basterds, Titanic or Pulp Fiction! The ones that I saw and loved were f.ex. Big fish, Amélie, The Chorus, Everything is illuminated... I like the series Monk and Columbo (crime series without being brutal! Jackpot!)
