My current mission is trying to make "the rat race" bearable

ABOUT ME

I live with my Husband on the north shore of Sydney. I work in Sydney as designer. In summer we love to go down to the beach, its a lovely spot. We try to travel to one new country or city a year. And the best time to do that is during our winter to escape the cold. Travel is my passion but Australia and New Zealand were we come from is along way from any where so it does not happen as often as I would like. NZ and Aus are both beautiful in there own rights so traveling around is a must, and we have seen a lot of both.

PHILOSOPHY

It takes all sorts to make the world go round, I like meeting new people and finding out about new ideas. I like change and innovation so I try stay open to new ways of doing things. I always remind my self you only have a limited time so make sure you make the most of it and do things you enjoy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I been both a host and stayed with people while traveling. We have meet some amazing people while hosting and even made great friends. I love discovering new places to visit and its always fun to share your city with visitors.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted a bunch of time and it's been great, we have gone sight seeing and just hung out chatting with people who have stayed with us. We have stayed with people in the US while traveling in 2014 and it was amazing to be welcomed into people's homes for a few days and to learn more about their lives.

Interests

I love taking photos, landscapes and city scrapes are my favourite. Eating new foods while traveling. Favourite places to visit are city's, love going to museum, are gallery's and working round the streets, taking photos of street art is another passion. We have recently moved to Sydney and are still exploring our new city.

Music, Movies, and Books

Comedy's are my favourite kinds of movies. I particularly like British comedy. Music, Muse, Radiohead, Foo fighters, Robin, Fat Freddie's drop, Grant lee buffalo, Pixies, etc.

Canyoning in Vanuatu, no safety, very adventures trip.
Going to the Kalahari as a child and seeing the stars.

Teach, Learn, Share

Cooking, making stuff. I know a lot about my city, history, art. I'm try to learn Italian taking a long time but I'm always keen to practise
