Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friends always talk about the amazing people they've met through couch surfing so I decided to get involved and meet new people from all countries and walks of life!

When I'm not at uni I love creating my own patterns and sewing outfits that I couldn't afford to buy in a shop! I'm inspired by history of art and film costume design.

I love Fionna Apple, Joanna Newsom, Leonard Cohen, Joy Crookes anything soul, blues, indie
At the minute I'm reading Emile Zola's 'La Germinale' hope to read it in it's original French one day!
I love watching films with a different type of aesthetic like Jane Campion, David Lynch, Quentin Tarintino, Wes Anderson, Truffaut and Godard - can also go for comedy with a bit of Monty Python!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taught English in a Belgian primary school for a week. Learnt so much in such a short space of time!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to teach arts and sewing skills whilst sharing travelling tips and stories.Could do a little French crash course too!
I'm aiming to learn phrases in all languages I encounter! I'm also really interested in the nuances of different cultures and the local history and culture of the area.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love cooking and can offer to cook a traditional English meal, it's the best way to get to know someone new! I'm keen to exchange cultures and cuisine with my host!
