I'm Louise, a student in the field of linguistics and soon to be a FLE teacher (french teacher for foreigners)! I first arrived on Couchsurfing when I was doing my internship in Canada to meet new people in 2019... And I did, it was awesome! Hope I can do the same by hosting people in my country :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet new people and share about our experiences (travel or anything actually). I think sharing with people who have different cultures and languages, different life stories is so enriching, even if it's for a short time. You know you'll meet people on your way, during your travels or through your life, and that you might not see them after that but that's what makes the meetings so rich and so interesting...
So yep that's the reason why I'm on Couchsurfing :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I volunteered in an association in France for 8 months, I changed of city to go there and met the most welcoming people I've ever met during my life. I organized small "French culture workshops" for migrant people as well as "computer workshops" for people who weren't used to those tools. It was an amazing year, and I decided to stay in the city after hat because I completely fell in love with the region and the people!
