Heyy! I'm a 21-year-old student from the south of France. Currently entering my third year in Human Sciences, I'll be living in Aberdeen, Scotland, for the year as an Erasmus student.

I love hanging out, travelling, hiking, hitchhiking, meeting new people, discovering and learning new things, sharing thoughts, doing sports, reading, cooking, skiing...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a traveller and a new hitchhiker (I did this summer my first hitchhiking trip during 13 days with a friend of mine and I'll for sure do it again!!), I absolutely love meeting new people :)

Although I've always loved it, the pandemic made me realise how important its was to constantly have people around who have different thoughts, ways of living and of thinking to share, which makes you evolve all along. My desire for meeting new people has now grown up a lot after these different lockdowns and online courses we had to live (stucked in our minds)!

Two of my trips (10 days hiking on the Way of St.James and 13 days hitchiking in Switzerland and Italy) were incredibly enriching humanly speaking. Especially the second one in which we met such wonderful people who invited us in their home to spend the night with them for no reason, who trusted us, who offered us so many things and who did it with pleasure! I thank them all for their kindness and their hospitality, it makes me want to be as generous as they are.
My first experience in a garden as a Wwoofer had quite the same effect on me.

Then, couchsurfing seems to me to be a good solution to meet new people. During this Erasmus year, I'm planning to discover the surroundings of Aberdeen and the whole country, helped by the people who live here and who can make this adventure much funnier and much more interesting!
