I am currently in the 5th term of my social-cultural anthropology Bachelor and I have decided to take one semester off before getting serious with my thesis. I would like to spend these months on exploring areas of my studies for which I haven't had time before, or deepening my knowledge on issues that have crossed my mind during that short epoch of anthropological studies. But on the other hand I want to create space to explore the outside of this academic ivory tower, which means to discover places and the people that belong to them, to exchange with persons that have chosen a similar, or very different path.

That is basically why I am on Couchsurfing because it is one of the most direct and make-up-less sources to find such plaaces and persons, a platform where different forms of living and being meet and help each other out.
