Overview
About Me
I was raised in Tours (in the center of France) but I studied History and English in Paris, including a year in London as an Erasmus student. I am currently teaching French in secondary and primary schools near Glasgow and I will probably go back to France by the end of June.
I love art in all its forms: literature, music, theatre, cinema, drawing... and therefore love to go to exhibitions, gigs, theatre, cinema etc. I also love to travel, see various landscapes and learn about new cultures.
I'm very curious and I'm always interested in meeting new people, especially around a nice beer/whiskey/wine, or even coffee, I love coffee.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I always take the opportunity to connect with people, and Couchsurfing seems like a great one! I also love the idea of getting to know someone who is actually living in the town I'm going to visit, because I believe it's the best way to discover a place.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favourite bands/singers: The National, The Decemberists, PJ Harvey, Mogwai...
Favourite authors: Virginia Woolf, Italo Calvino...
Favourite film directors: David Lynch, Jim Jarmush, Ken Loach, Wes Anderson...
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd like to speak about my culture but I'm even more eager to learn about other cultures. I'm a chatterbox, and therefore I love to talk to people about deep stuff like the meaning of life but also about less deep stuff like the Monty Pythons (subtle link with the meaning of life!!..... Anyway... I can be funny, I promise.)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd love to discuss with you, laugh with you, teach you some French (if you want of course), grab a drink, listen to music... I love to sing and I learned how to play the guitar enough to sing a few songs.
Oh, and I can even try to cook something edible!
