About Me

Hi Everyone! My name is Louise and I am so excited to backpack around Europe this summer with my best friend! I was born in Sweden, and currently live in Seattle, USA attending college. In between, I lived in England, Sri Lanka and Denmark.

My family raised me to love the world and all the different cultures it has. They introduced me to travelling, and damn I can't stop.

I'm currently at school here in Seattle, working as a Custody Case Worker. I'm hoping to study International Law.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This summer I am going back to Europe, but this time I am ready to backpack! I'm going on this adventure with my best friend who has been backpacking before! We are so ridiculously excited.

Interests

I spend most of my free time volunteering with a few different organizations. Even though I am studying law, biology is also a passion of mine. I went on a volunteering trip to Trinidad and Tobago researching leather back sea turtles. Currently I volunteer with a summer camp for children whose parents have cancer. During the year I organize and host fundraisers, then I'm a counselor during camp.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music- I'm sorry to be the one to write this, but EVERYTHING. haha
Movies- Shawshank Redemption, Shutter Island, Fight Club, The Intouchables and American History X (damn, the feels) those were just the first I could think of, I love movies.
Books- I mostly read swedish crime books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Raised $1,000 for my little local organization in one night during a college party. That was cool!

Teach, Learn, Share

Did you know that females bladders are 1/4 of the size of male bladders. I'm full of random facts like that!

I love cooking, cooking and cooking! I'm also pretty awesome at it. Would love to cook for you or with you! Making food is so much fun!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My brain also contains numerous weird stories from all over the world. Like that time my brother was attacked by a tame monkey in Malaysia. I love hearing loads of different random traveling stories.
