About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to give less 'fucks' about things that don't' matter
to make the most out of every opportunity
to find happiness where there seems like there's none
to learn
To live with minimal regrets, saying yes to things if i feel like it and no if i don't.
ABOUT ME
My Couchsurfing life began in 2010 when I took my big solo gapyear, a lot has changed since then but some things have stayed the same. One of those things is my love for travel. Something about throwing yourself totally into different cultures, experiencing it and letting it change you is truly addictive. Currently, i'm doing an internship here in Rotterdam which has left me with plenty of time to explore.
I'm a social person and am always down for a beer and a chat. I also really enjoy getting out and seeing nature (which i must admit I miss here...).
I'm interested in health and fitness but not the extent of being obsessed... i like to think that i eat well and work out so that if i want to eat a whole cake for dinner i have no guilt about doing that. I'm a huge coffee snob and if you don't already know the best coffee in town be sure that i will find it and let you know. I'm a pretty good cook and would love to make some meals to share. I love couchsurfing because you feel at home. I don't want to sleep on your couch, leave early in the morning and come back late at night. I don't mind exploring alone (in fact that's what i'm best at) but i do want to hangout. I want to share stories and laughs and have a nice time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
surfed a lot, hosted a little.
Never really been in a place where i can host properly, that day will come.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Staying with Frank in grenoble france, he worked all day (after giving me his ONLY key), then took me on his motorbike, after first explaining it all to me so i wouldn't freak, and drove me around the area. we must've driven for at least 2 hours. It was just so beautiful, and so much more than i'd ever expected. I still talk about it as a highlight of my entire trip!! I'm not certain it's the reason why.. but i did end up buying my own bike back in Brisbane. never know maybe i have Frank to blame :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
swimming in a sea in which you CAN NOT sink. Climbing mountains and seeing sunrises, looking at beautful mountains light up by moon light alone in the desert. The calanques in Marseille.
