CURRENT MISSION

to get geared up and ready to leave for Colombia in march!

ABOUT ME

I will be traveling to Colombia at the end of March.
I'm thinking I will start in Medellin, staying there for around 2 weeks, and then traveling up towards the Atlantic coast. If anyone who is from Colombia sees this and would like to meet up or knows cool places to see and people to meet, I'd love to hear from you!
Not very good at Spanish yet, but I'm learning!

ABOUT ME:

I love seeing new places, meeting new people, learning new things.
I am a very respectful person, but I am also very opinionated. I say what I think (but I'm nice about it ;) haha). I like having discussions and talking with people about life, freedom (liberty), politics, spirituality, travel, health, natural healing, farming, and whatever else might be important to you or me!
I am by nature a quiet person, I like to observe more than be observed. But I will say what I think is important, and I like having meaningful conversations. I don't like being told what to do or what to think by "authorities" and will fight for my (and your) rights.
I also don't really get awkward, and get along with mostly anybody. You can always find common ground!

I am a vegetarian (i eat eggs). I try to eat and be as healthy as I can. I am a pretty good cook, and will cook and clean in exchange for a couch to sleep on!!

I am a pretty solitary person. As much as I like being around like-minded people, I like being by myself, too. So.. potential hosts, don't fear. I'm very adaptable and independent and won't go bugging you for all of your time! But I'd love to hang out and learn about you and your country.

Government is a religion that we have outgrown.

People are inherently good.

Art (making and looking at), being in nature, self sustainability, food and farming, "politics" (anarchism, libertarianism), natural healing, people and traveling, cultures and civilizations, history, music and dancing (especially at music festivals or concerts), being outside and doing exciting things.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can help anyone that wants to practice English or Dutch.

I am a good cook. If you let me stay at your house, I will cook you awesome meals.

I can teach all I know about: vegetarian/vegan cooking and baking, arts & crafts (painting, drawing, making jewelry, sewing, etc etc), natural medicines and healing, or anything else I know! I don't "believe" in public schools, I believe life is a school and we are all teachers. I will share any information I have with you.

One thing I'd love to learn is salsa dancing, so if anyone is up for teaching me, that would be awesome!
I also want to learn some Colombian recipes :)
