Would like to travel more in the world but am tied to work at the moment, looking after accommodation with my husband.

ABOUT ME

Lived in Zimbabwe for most of my life having been born there - met and married Roy and have three beautiful sons. Boy twins of 28 and a single son now 26. Our sons live in Zimbabwe and the UK and my husband and I were living in New Zealand but now back in Harare, Zimbabwe trying to make a new life after having our farm taken from us by the Mugabe government in 2004. We loved New Zealand and miss it in many ways but as our three sons are all back here, we love being able to see them from time to time and we now have a Grandson too who brings great joy to us!

PHILOSOPHY

Live life to the full! Enjoy each day, think of others before yourself. Make sure you follow the direction God leads you in and seek His will for you and your family daily.......we can only survive this world if we believe in jesus.....He wants the very best for all of us!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not done any couch surfing yet but our youngest son Richard, has many times - but when were living in New Zealand, we enjoyed having many people to stay with us from all over.

Interests

Teach, Learn, Share

Growing up in Africa - both my husband and I were born in Zimbabwe.
We also feel that perhaps we have something to offer as Christians - we have been through an amazing journey moving from Zimbabwe to England and onto New Zealand, with very little money but have blessed in so many ways! The blessings continue as we settle back in Zim where life is a lot more difficult than living in New Zealand!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am happy to take people around the various shopping, cafes and restaurants etc , as well as to places of interest and even prepare a meal for someone. I can also assist in finding the best places to go on visits around the country.
