I travel as much as possible without using the plane (and I have no car), that's why I travel a lot with the train... and I used to love it and meet unforgettable people!
Now mostly travelling with my partner Niklas who I met on the road :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because...

I want to make new experiences and meet new people from others regions, in my country or abroad

I love to speak foreign langages and learning from other cultures, other ways of life, other points of view... even if I know how it also can be very difficult to do so (because I don't stay calm and tolerant if I hear about injustice!)

This way of travelling is really special and beautiful in his humanity, it makes the travel mostly slower and I really enjoy this very much. Discover a new place with local people has no comparison!
And hosting is also every time a very unique special experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Met my future life partner in a train between Hamburg and Copenhagen and then move from France to Germany for him!
Discovered beautiful unexpected places thanks to Couchsurfing :)
Sung a lot and in crazy music halls, for example Elbphilharmonie (Hamburg), Philharmonie de Paris, Cathédrale de Paris... an in one of the biggest trainstations in Paris (Châtelet - Les Halles!)
Worked at the Elbphilharmonie and brought so much people (included Coucsurfing hosts!) on the rooftop!!
Quit my job a lot of time

Teach, Learn, Share

Be careful, a teacher always wants to teach..!!
I can teach you french and my partner can teach you german!
He can also teach you bouldering, I can tell you a lot of unnecessary things :)
We can teach you to cook delicious vegan meals.
We love to learn new things in general.
Of course we can share food, travel and adventure stories, and the tipps to visit France and Germany.

What I Can Share with Hosts

When you are the guest:
It depends of the time we have at the moment: it can be just our place... with a good diner... with a trip to Paris or other beautiful places around... and sharing a lot of travelstories! :)
Hopefully we would also share music and joy !

When I am / we are the guest:
We are really flexibel persons, have no expectations except respect and sympathy, so we try to adapt us to your habits as much as we can. We definitely would like to cook at least one meal for you! Cooking and washing up is a big part of our lifestyle, we cook a lot (vg). Of course we would be happy to bring you specialties from France or Germany - or both!
And if you can show us something beautiful or special around your place: it would be amazing!
