Hi! I'm Louise. I'm a Brit who's looking to explore the world! I've just come back from travelling Europe where I stayed in hostels because I completely forgot about this awesome network. I'm travelling to New Zealand in March but before that I'm visiting the Netherlands.

I love learning, meeting new people, and experiencing new things. I worked in a nightclub at university where I learnt that anything can be made better with a smile and a positive attitude.

I'm vegetarian and you better believe I've jumped on that avocado love train. I'm starting my PhD in cosmology come September so I spend a lot of time with me head in the stars. I love hiking, nature, and exploring. I hope I can meet people to share some great experiences with.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it's a fantastic way to see the world on a budget and meet new and interesting people! When I'm back in the UK I want to open my doors to other travellers and help them with their journey. I just think this a wonderful way to connect with people and be part of a helpful community.

Music, Movies, and Books

What can I say, I love pop. But since my friends generally don't agree with me I never have control of the radio and to be honest I don't mind! I've spent a lot of summers working at festivals where I was lucky enough to hear and see a lot of different stuff and I can't think of anything I came across that I just didn't like.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a year studying abroad in Canada which was a life changing experience because it gave me the confidence and desire to explore the world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm more than willing to help out with cooking, cleaning, manual labour... whatever's needed! (I can even help with math homework) Hopefully we can share some stories and experiences together too. There's not much better than a nice conversation in the morning with a cuppa at hand.
