Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Right now, looking for hosts in Istanbul and relax people with whom to explore the city.
Interests
I'm very much into food... Once this guy I was dating told me: "I wish you looked at me the way you look at food" it was hard for me not to laugh, but I was also glad to see my love for belly-satisfaction consecrated in such way. Spoiler we didn’t date much.
I'm also into hiking. A LOT. To me, it's not a hike if it's not painful the next day. I like to hike barefeet or running, and it's always pleasant to compete with fellow hikers.
Music is something I thoroughly enjoy as well. I listen to a great variety of genres, even some pop when I’m in the mood.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love to read but rarely make time for it, since my free time is mostly filled with language learning (Bulgarian and Turkish at the moment, and I'm trying to decide whether I should add Japanese, Nepali or Georgian to the list).
Music-wise I listen to pretty much anything sung, played or recorded with heart, ranging from pop to 70’s Thai jazz and Turkish luth.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Quitting my studies in 2017 to go travel around Morocco and Spain, and settling in The Netherlands. That was for now the 2 most fascinating years of my life, as well as the hardest. I'm still learning from that humbling experience.
Update:
Leaving the Netherlands for Bulgaria was another amazing thing I did. It gave me the opportunity to learn my first Slavic language and engage with a career path in adéquation with the lifestyle I’m pursuing, the Road.
Teach, Learn, Share
French and Bulgarian recipes, vinyasa yoga, piano (classical register only, sorry fellow jazz musicians)
