Hi all! We are Louna & Hendrick, young couple looking for new adventures around the world!
- Louna, 24, French girl that settled in the Netherlands almost a year ago to end her studies and discover new landscapes for her future. Traveled around the world since she was just a little kid, seeking to see more and discover new cultures over the coming years.
- Hendrick, 23, Dutch guy, fell in love with travelling since a very young age and always had been interested in the variety of cultures. Very social and outgoing person, who likes to get a taste of all the different styles of living on our beautiful planet. Can't wait to see what the world has more to offer!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are big travel enthusiasts and we think the best way to enjoy a trip is to meet and share with the people around us. And that's why we think Couch Surfing is the perfect platform to create amazing opportunities! When we travel we want to be connected with the place, make part of the day to day life and be part of the community. When we get somewhere we do not just want to physically be there, we want to experience life through the eyes and hearts of the people that surround us. Music, Movies, and Books

Hendrick: If i were to have to talk about my favorite music and movies i would be typing paragraphs long, that is why i will just make a beautiful top 3 from the top of my head. Regarding music it is a though choice, but i would say Brennan Savage (if u know you know), Coldplay and Gorillaz. For movies it is quite an easier choice, there are 3 movies that shaped my childhood and had an amazing impact on me. Into the wild, made me fall in love with travelling and freedom, Footloose, made me fall in love with dancing and Star Wars because it is Star Wars. For books, i am not big on reading, but i would love to read more. So any recommondations are welcome!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hendrick: Growing up my parents could never afford a "big" family vacation. We had been on trips within the Netherlands and on occasions to the neighbouring countries of Belgium and Germany. One summer when i was 12 years old my parents had set aside money and arranged for a road trip down to and through Italy. This was the summer of my life. As we travelled we went through the countryside and avoided any huge cities, we visited local small towns, stayed at peoples homes and camped in the beautiful nature. This Summer changed life for me, travelling became something i promised myself to prioritize. Ever since i have loved to find hidden gems, meet with locals and submerge into the local culture of any place i visit.

Teach, Learn, Share

Hendrick: As i have no certain skill i posses that i can share and teach, i am fond of talking, philosophical and critical. As so i would love to talk and share viewpoints on several topics in life, the world and anything that we can think of. Who knows what we can teach, learn and share by simply talking.
