About Me
Hi everyone,
My name is Lounes, I’m French, and I mainly work in humanitarian aid in the Middle East. Before that, I had a variety of experiences and worked in different fields, which allowed me to discover many different realities.
I’m very interested in art, philosophy, music, cinema, history, spirituality, and literature. But what I find most enriching are human connections. I truly believe that we are all part of a kind of mosaic. It is through others that we better understand the world around us, and also ourselves.
That’s precisely why I joined Couchsurfing. I enjoy meeting different people, exchanging ideas, and sharing experiences. I find it deeply enriching.
I’m a simple person: I enjoy good conversations, listening to different perspectives, and learning from others. What I value most is connection, exchange, and the opportunity to bring something to one another.
Looking forward to meeting you ;)

Music, Movies, and Books
Music : Rap, French chanson, jazz, classic, electronic music such as techno and ambient... Overall, I’m very open musically, and I genuinely enjoy discovering new sounds—as long as there is a sense of innovation and something emotionally deep, I’m always willing to explore new horizons.
Cinema : I have a preference for auteur and contemplative films. I’m particularly drawn to filmmakers such as Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Béla Tarr, Andrei Tarkovsky, Alexander Sokurov, and Pedro Costa.
Literature : I have a deep interest in philosophy, as well as in books that allow us to dive deeply into the human soul in all its dimensions. I’m particularly drawn to writers such as Marcel Proust and Louis-Ferdinand Céline, who have had a profound impact on me.
Finally, I believe that the greatest artistic gesture is simply life itself and the world around us. Perhaps the most beautiful thing is to cultivate an open gaze toward the world—because that, in itself, may be the highest form of art.
