About Me
CURRENT MISSION
just crusing for a while, see where the mission leads
ABOUT ME
I'm an Australian so I like to see a long way and have some wide horizons and broad spectrum sunsets we know well, I know my country as well as anyone your likely to meet from down here , I have lived in most states and walked bare foot over many miles , including my Neighbour countries of Papua New Guinea and Indonesia. However I really have love for Europe and its celler bars, old narrow strrets , bridges and history to me its a very Romantic place that inspires and diversifies and enriches the spirit. Its different to my Natural world upbringing and provides a human power to complimant the natural world powers that I've always known
From crystal massages to surfing 10 foot waves and everything in between , there isnt much limit to where i'm willing to put myself too to gain experience, .
Most of my Euro travels were in the pre- CS days including when I lived in Czeh and Polska in 2002-3 and wish i had the options then (you guys are spoilt)--- I am a sucessful and professional social worker who cares for Abroigional rights and run programs in tropical Australia. I have slept hundreds of nights on the floor or under the stars, so with me you'll find an earthy friend who would never take what wasnt sincerely given, and thats why i've been invited to so many villages as a kind of Random surfer with local peoples who would not know a couch surfer from crossant
I also like a bit of Piwo, bir or coldie as we call it in Australia and enjoy nights out with friends talking truths and shit in tandem around a campfire;-), i'm never shy of this kind of fun especially when on the road
PHILOSOPHY
just keep cruising and share whats going down with a gag or 2 til love leads you in another direction, and when that happens cruise on that and lose yourself for a while. Lifes too short to sit around eating cheasels!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I want to be active meeting friends around the world, its a pitty I live in a remote location, a city of just 200,000 and only 300,000 people in an area bigger than the Germany and France combined thats 50 percent aboriginals. i'm undertaking hosting to stay wide minded and will surf here and there on the road.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Had some great experiences in Europe and the Phillipines, there are some real grass roots cats in the mix . - have hosted more than i've surfed, its been great to share, i've shared all my life so its a natural thing for me

Music, Movies, and Books
too many to list, but as a teenager I was a neo-punk in Melbourne Australia in the late 1980s, then went through the entire Grunge era from start to finish in the 90s. I've had some shocking haircuts from those days, the tight black jeans, the steel cap pointy boots, and taty flannel shirts. Ands spent a few night on the floor (not on my own terms!)
In most recent years (post 2000) I've drifted too Reggae fushion jams and Drum and Bass gigs, and latin-spanish culturally influenced music from around about to dance too
books -''Sharataram the story of 'detainee Roberts who escaped my local Austrlian prision by scaling the walls in the 1980s, he was our most wanted man and lived years in bombay slums before joining the aftghans against the Russians ----is my current read ( a great read too) but usually
i like earthy facts to ground out this drifter, wildlife, geology, astronomy, cultaral, historical and cook books (unless i'm humgry). movies---
Arthouse movies that challenge ideals and tap emotions, and of course anything thats gut bustingly funny ---im an Aussie afterall aand like hanging shit on my mates!,
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
An amazing number of cultures and have worked and lived with indigenous cultures for over 8 years, but Papua New Guinea is the pinnacle of experience, if you went there and lived with the people there you'll never ever be the same person you were, and you'll realise your previous culture shocks were not in the same league.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a learner more than a teacher, but if you want to know about Australia, New Guinea and Indonesia, then I'm your teacher thats for certain. I tend to randomly teach somebody something about themselves they hadnt considered and not sure how or why i do this. Others have this effect on me occasionally
As for Europe, Krakow and Berlin, i like to learn more of these awsome cities
