ABOUT ME

Philosophy has always been my best company ; I found her in travels, in writing, in discussions with people, in my passion for teaching. As a matter of fact, life has always conspired to drive me towards teaching as a destiny... As someone said, teaching is learning twice. Not only a book lover, I'm also driven by an unsatiable appetite to discover, learn and share the world around me. I also compose music and do some sound engineering for friends who want to have a demo/CD etc. I play guitar, I sing, and a little piano, and I do electronic musics. Since 2017 I started to add video projects to my practice.

Ma vie n'est pas une ligne simple et droite, mais dans mon exploration, je pense que se manifeste ma volonté de créer des choses qui soient bonnes pour notre temps.

PHILOSOPHY

Justify the fact that everything conspired for your birth, and create yourself ideals and values that you can embody at any second, just to become able to say "thank you" all the time for being alive.

Je crois en la lucidité, la solitude dans la nature, l'espoir et l'émerveillement, mais aussi la force toujours surprenante de l'énergie du désespoir.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had a beautiful experience of surfing during a trip around North America in 2008, during which thanks to couchsurfing I met amazing people who made me feel at home in each and every place I was going through, even in a short time. I participate by hosting or discussing about the city, about the things and the people that I enjoy in this city and want to share with them, being hosted, talking about couchsurfing and promoting the discovery of new places by talking with the LOCALS, the people who live there. You know a place, a culture, through people, not through photos and tourism agencies.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i discovered Couchsurfing through a friend, and experienced it as a surfer during summer 2008. This is an experience that anyone who is concerned with real discovery, communication and sharing, is supposed to try. I hosted some of my new friends that I knew while travelling. So we're like a big community, hosting each other when any one needs it, and keeping in touch and telling all the stories of travels and lessons of these paths, and the community keeps growing...

And another beautiful experience in Greece in 2015!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jump on stage/Monter sur une scène ; faire des sound-checks/make soundchecks ; The Tatra Mountains/les Tatras ; see a landscape scrolling on and on in a train/voir le paysage défiler dans un train ; succeed in not being frightened to death by the plane/ne plus avoir peur en avion ; composing/composer ; écrire des choses sincères/write sincere things ; marcher la nuit en pleine forêt sans se faire bouffer par un kugar ou un ours/cross a forest by night without crossing path with a kugar or a bear... + Record sounds for foley/faire de la prise de son de cinéma sur un plateau de tournage ou pour du bruitage!!

Teach, Learn, Share

Je peux enseigner la musique, du solfège à la guitare ; en philo, je pense que toute discussion peut mener à s'enrichir, se voir mutuellement et soi-même plus vrai et plus clair... Calligraphie aussi. Je voudrais apprendre plein d'autres langues, plein de nouvelles recettes de plein de lieux différents, des nouvelles mentalités, des cultures différentes, le piano... etc.

I can teach music. Guitar, theory, etc. As far as philosophy is concerned, don't worry I won't bother, I believe that any kind of real dialogue, conversation, interaction, with people, has a far more better "philosophical" taste than any big book. I can teach Calligraphy too. And I can help as a sound-engineer, if you're a band on tour, just call me if you have some emergency, or want to record a demo or to have somebody to check the sounds in a gig. I wanna learn a lot of languages, new cultures and I'm currently learning above all PIANO. And I want to share the love of music.
