ABOUT ME

You might see me around Reykjavík with my darling Zack, 5 year old son, either going out of my mind or not..
Or you might see me having a walk with Bella, my beautiful and sweet, white Border collie.
You might see me sitting in the park writing in my notebook.
Or somewhere with beer in one hand and a sigarette in the other, somehow trying to read my book at the same time.
Most of the time alone, for I am a loner by nature.

You might also meet me at one of the events I sometimes plan. BBQ in the park, beach party, cheap beer nights or crazy party at my place, the house of love and laughter.

You might not get my sarcasm. You might get offended. But still be sure that I do respect your feelings.

I am all about living to the fullest, or at least as much as I can! Never any regrets, because you don´t know what will happen in life.. So just enjoy every minute of it, every day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted a lot of people. From all around and I really really enjoy having different people around. no two people are the same and that is what´s so awesome about couchsurfing, we can all connect somehow even though we come from different kind of life.
I am home most nights and would love to start have regular dinner get togethers with people. I like having good company, good conversations, good food, good music, good everything!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, I have had a great experience so far and am excited about adding more to it! I want to travel and meet people all over! But since I can´t travel as much as I would like I think of hosting as my way of seeing the world through all my wonderful surfers.

Interests

BOOKS! I read a lot. I like history and learning about different cultures, being put in a situation I have never been in before and learning something new! I speculate a lot about the community, what we can do for it to be better, why are things the way they are, what is the source, is it going the way it should, why do we want what we want and why does society put us in a box?
Oh btw, I study philosophy.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning new dishes that are cheap, fast and easy to cook. I will teach you to do a wonderful chocolate cake . I will share my life and home with you :)

Word of advice! Alcohol is very expensive in Iceland and is only sold in state run stores, you can´t even get beer in the supermarket. I am constantly meeting people that travel here with no knowledge of these awful things! So my advice is to buy as much as you can in the dutyfree when coming to Iceland, I am sure you won´t regret it.

I will also share my toilet paper with you, wich I have found out to be very expensive when hosting as much as I do.
So I ask you one thing, If you possibly can, bring a roll of toiletpaper to share with my house :)

Well, you can also bring a bottle of wine to share, house of love and laughter loves wine.
