About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to leave a trail of love all over the world

ABOUT ME

Im a bit of a hippie mermaid artist, newbie musician, adventurer, quite open minded, wench, sailor, pretty laid back. I love cheese and wine and every chance I get to be around them makes me tickled pink. Music, art, new experiences, wine and cheese are the reasons i have such a joy of life. Anything creative, I am interested.
I grew up on the beach in Nova Scotia. I was that stinky kid who would climb on the school bus with sand and seaweed in my hair. Most kids brought PB&J's for lunch, but my momma packed me scallops, lobster and all that good stuff from under the sea. oh and cheese too!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is so beautiful, why would you waste a moment? Try everything twice. Appreciate everything, and try to find the lesson in it all.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted plenty before I hit the road and started traveling. I try to offer cooking, cleaning, good conversation, learning and teaching and some good laughs.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I discovered this awesome community a while ago, and it seemed like a really great idea. Then I knew that i would be traveling so I thought I would try hosting before surfing. I hosted 14 people the month before I left to start my adventures around the world, and I am glad I did. It taught me to be a good guest.

Interests

I love working with my hands, painting, sculpture, sailing, film photography, jewelry, building things, playing guitar, singing, drinking wine in my hammock, playing chess, reading, cooking, massaging, my recent love is working with leather and stained glass.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I taught myself how to ride a motorcycle in Costa Rica. The second day I woke with the sun, packed some snacks and some water, not knowing where I was going, total freedom, started stumbling upon secret beaches you could only get to by walking or moto. Completely vacant and gorgeous, just waiting for me.
