ABOUT ME

Right now I am travelling across the U.S. with my fiance. We are moving from Honolulu to Pittsburgh and this country is freaking amazing!

i am literally the most open-minded person i know. NOT the most liberal, NOT the most abnormal, but genuinely open-minded in a thoughtfully considerate devil's advocate kind of way.

i get younger every year. perception is everything?

i've loved my couchsurfing experiences! i am so turned on to travel!

hawaii! twice! two totally different and unbelievable groups. beautiful islands.

so beautiful I moved to honolulu and after 4.5 years of paradise am couchsurfing friends, family, and unknown friends from LA to Pittsburgh!

i'm interested in everything that i encounter. i'm kind of nerdy and kiss-ass in that way, but more curious and intrigued by the world every day. i'll drop a bit of diversity:

also, in korea, my mother said "homo." that was pretty amazing.

i had genuinely wild, real, natural delicious fruit in big hawaii. it was this grapefruitish citrus with about 12... TWELVE... 12! seeds PER slice. that's nature, folks! amazing that we're so unaccustomed to how amazing it is meant to be!

identity is a whole lot more than we think it is. it is more to think about.

when crickets crick, it is noisier the hotter it is. there's an actual equation for the direct correlation between the number of cricks and the temp. and also, crickets use their crickers to crick. i made that one up but everyone likes it.

am i north korean or south korean? well, i'll tell you this, [name], i don't know ANY north koreans, do you? yeah, well, they're all in north korea. they don't go nowhere.

when you have a long layover in *TOKYO-NARITA,* no problem! there is a downstairs lounge that no one knows about, so it's not very populated. they have tvs, usually one playing cnn or espn, tons of waiting area, and computers. BUT, THE IMPORTANT THING!: they have these pimp-ass comfortable lounge chairs around to the left, and this nice, big, private bathroom.

you should carry bottle water and at least one tissue always when you're traveling. or however much it takes to wipe your butt. at the least.

i can't stand my mom for long, even in the best circumstances. figure out your half-life before traveling too long with anyone. for me, even in delightful, entertaining, educational, fulfilling, beautiful destinations... two weeks. :-P
