PHILOSOPHY

I am a junkie for new experiences, new people, new places, or better yet experiencing the "same-old-thing" in a completely unique or different way. I believe that "small-talk" isn't small talk at all. That is, I simply don't do it until I actually care to know. I love people...but people that are true, real, and passionate. I like to take the time to really appreciate a moment, a thought, a person, etc. If you have something to say, say it. If you want to do a cartwheel, do it. If you want to laugh, don't hold back just because you are in a silent lecture hall ( I get stares all the time). If you feel something, allow yourself to be completely absorbed by it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just found couchsurfing on-line. I have never found a community that really had the potential to embody the type of person I am: open-minded, free-spirited, honest, curious and experiential. I am excited to meet other couch-surfers and learn more about the project.

I enjoy: blue food, awkward moments, finding things in unexpected places, smiles, chocolate, independent and foreign films, hanging out with my family and friends, appreciating something for the first time, nature, spontaneity, skinny dipping (especially at night), fishing, dancing, drizzle, how a person smells behind their ear, singing in the car, going commando, running, asking questions, meditating, honesty, quilting, journaling, writing things that no one will ever read, reading things that no one else will ever read, learning something new, pastels, photography, laughing and making people laugh...
guilty pleasure #1=country music.
