Hi. I'm Lovelle but my friends call me Belle.

I'm a 100% Filipina. Somehow, I often get asked if I'm Chinese, Korean or Japanese. I'm pretty sure it's because of my chinky eyes because apart from that, everything about me pretty much shouts Filipino.

Before you message me, I must warn you that I will most probably be the awkward-est and the shy-est person you'll ever meet in real life. The most apparent proof of that shyness is my excessive sweating all over my body. No matter how cold it is, if I'm uncomfortable, I sweat.

So, what the hell am I doing here, right? Well, I want to overcome my social anxiety. I like meeting new people, learning new things and understanding new perspectives. And I don't want my lack of social skills hinders the things I want in life.

Okay, I'm not selling myself well here. I swear, I'm fun. At least that's what my friends are telling me. They say how different it is when they see me around new people because when I'm with them, I'm the rowdiest and craziest asshole there is.

I've actually travelled alone for a couple of times already. And I think I did... okay with the socializing part.

Lastly, I'm an INFP-T personality, if that helps.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because aside from the fact that I'm a cheap-ass motherfucker, I like meeting new people. I like hearing their stories. I like being actually part of their world and learn their culture and not just seeing it in a "tourist's" perspective. I just like people in general because I know that there are a lot of great people out there.

Interests

I like hiking and doing nothing at the beach.
I like driving alone at night just wandering around.
I like alcohol except beer. I like flavored beer but aside from that, I'd like to avoid any beer.
I doodle at times.
I make mixtapes (technically they're CDs but whatevs).
I make short films when I have the manpower.
I enjoy writing stories but haven't finished a single one.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:

I like bands. I'm more into alternative rock and punk rock. I like 90s music in general. Basically, I know nothing about the music of today.

Books:

I read a lot of books. But I guess the works of Haruki Murakami and Chuck Palahniuk are worth of mention. I really like dystopian novels as well. My favorite dystopian novel right now is The Chaos Walking Trilogy. I like A Song of Ice and Fire as well.

Movie:

I'm a film junkie. So, I don't know where to begin. In romance, I love the Before Trilogy. The nuances, the dialogue, everything is just perfect. Plus, Ethan was a cutie on the first one. Another romantic movie I like is Say Anything....

I also like movies like Gladiator, Troy, Braveheart, The Last Samurai, 300, and all those epic movies. I'd like to mention Fight Club as well. Hm. (BTW, I haven't watched any James Bond movie. I dunno. I just don't wanna. Lol.)

Aside from that, I really love coming of age movies. Stand By Me, Almost Famous, Dead Poets Society, etc, I live for that shit.

Newer movies I like are: The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, The Three Flavours of Cornetto Trilogy, Kingsman: The Secret Service.

Ugh. Dammit. I have so many movies I'd like to mention. Let's just say, I love movies and sitcoms and series as well.
