ABOUT ME

I am learning to become a farmer and looking to start an operation of my own soon. Ideally an already operational farm where a pig operation would fit in nicely, and then grow from there. So my brain is pretty consumed with pig type stuff these days, but I'm also interested in all things food, farming, gardening, sustainability, and the like. I like to talk about just about anything, though I especially like deep discussions and getting very, very real. I appreciate total honesty.

PHILOSOPHY

Be kind to others. Allow yourself to be loved. Live in the present moment. And when that doesn't work, have a cookie.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately I've never had the opportunity to host. When I first started on CS I was living in the suburbs of Seoul, South Korea and never got requested. Now I live in the boondocks in Montana and don't seem to get a lot of action through there either. I'm really looking forward to hosting someday soon though!

I have couch surfed a couple of times, both in Australia, and it was great! Definitely want to pay it back.

I've surfed a few times and it's always been a super positive experience. I've never had the opportunity to host but hope to someday!

Right now I'm listening to a lot of The Barenaked Ladies and bad '80's rock.

I love documentaries and comedies.

Currently on a non-fiction book kick. Collapse, and Guns, Germs and Steel are my two most recent good reads.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I can teach you about cooking and food. I'd love to have you teach me about your culture and how it's both different from mine, and the same. And whatever you're best at doing, I want to know what makes you good at that!

I've also become a pretty decent photographer and can teach you about it if you'd like. I'm a really good skier to, so if there's mountains where you're at, let's go! I love to ski!
