About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
..to meet new exciting people of course, propably people I would not bump into otherwise. I got into Couchsurfing because of a friend of mine who's been registered here for a long time, and it seemed to be a fun way to meet other travelers and helping them with a temporary place to stay. Right now I'm "maybe accepting guests", because I will be traveling to my home city and hopefully to Amsterdam this summer.
Interests
I have quite many interests, and are constantly finding new things I want to learn!
Right now I am obsessed with polefit, which I have been practicing for a little more than one year.
I'm also trying to learn how to play tenor saxophone, I don't know how happy my neighbours are about it, but it will sound good...eventually!
Of course, since I study biomedicine, I find that biology, medicine and chemistry are very interesting. Other subjects that I find interesting are philosophy, psychology, geology (even though I know very little about it) and art.
I like to paint, mainly with ordinary pencils but I would like to try oil sometime. I usually get inspired by surrealistic portraits and art by Frida Kahlo and Dali.

Music, Movies, and Books
I believe that good music exists in all genres. Among my favourite artists are Massive Attack, Queens of the Stone Age, Hole, Nikolas Jaar, and the list goes on and on so I will keep it that short! But the genres I prefer are grunge, stoner, punk and electronic music such as Röyksopp. But of course it varies depending on the mood and what I do. Regardless of that, music is very important to me!
To be honest I'm really bad at watching movies, I don't like sitting still I guess..! But out of the ones I've watched recently I liked the Matrix, Pulp Fiction, Gone Girl, Train Spotting and Fight Club. So over all, psychological thrillers with a lot of unhappy people in them. Nothing original about that list...^^'
Books! Books. It is hard to give a good picture of it, but a few examples of books I enjoyed reading: 1984 (George Orwell), Kallocain (Karin Boye), Blod Eld Död (about the Swedish metal scene), Nausea (Jean-Paul Sartre).
Countries I’ve Visited
Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Spain
