About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I covet your eyes, your ears, the collapsible space between us. How blessed are we to have each other? I am alive and you are alive so we must fill the air with our words. -Dave Eggers
ABOUT ME
I recently moved from a town of 50 people in rural Nebraska to Oklahoma City and am LOVING "city life".
I love doing lots of things, especially things that involve being outside, good food, and learning new things.
Current goals: learn how to play the washboard, make a difference in the lives of kids in Oklahoma, run a half marathon in under 2 hours, be able to lead 5.9 trad, successfully summit the Grand Teton, open a brew pub, and write national education policy.
PHILOSOPHY
Live life. Love everyone. Learn from everything and everyone.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent a month and half living in Nepal, where I did an internship working at a leprosy clinic in Kathmandu. It absolutely changed my life.
I also taught elementary school on the Rosebud Reservation in south-central South Dakota for three years, where I met the most amazing kids. They taught me as much if not more than I taught them.
Teach, Learn, Share
I really love teaching people how to rock climb. We've got a sweet gym here in OKC, so if you're interested in learning, let me know!
I also love to teach people about raptors... birds of prey, not dinosaurs. (I worked at a raptor rehabilitation center for 4 years).
I love sharing meals and cooking with people.
I love learning anything. And I love sharing everything.
