ABOUT ME

I am a quiet, shy, goal oriented, active and idealistic person! It takes me a while to find my comfort zone when I meet new people; but once I am there, I won't stop talking and joking around! I recently quit my job and moved to Irvine (a damn BORING city) to be closer to school. As a matter of fact, I am living at UCI dorms. I love to travel and explore new places. It barely happens to visit a place twice unless I have a special connection with that place. examples: Grand Canyon and Shiraz so far.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a couple of people from Australia, Iran and Germany, but they have not been real couch surfers!!!
One of them was a Doctor from Australia and he had a presentation here in Long Beach. He could not book a hotel so he ended up sleeping on my couch!!!! :-D

Interests

Water sports have been really relaxing for me!Like water on a pit of fire when I am exhausted, bored or frustrated!!!
Swimming, surfing and scuba diving are the ones that I enjoy the most!

Traveling and camping are definitely among my top interests. But I have a very intense schedule and I am not sure how I am gonna do this for the next 3-4 years. Luckily, my adviser encourages us to travel more often ... So I guess I may be able to skip here and there from Lab to camp or have a short trip!

Not saying that I am a good cook, but I also like spending some time for cooking once is a while!!!

I used to bike an run a lot! I play soccer and beach volley ball at least 3 times a week!

In one word, what ever physical activity you ask me, I am in! (EXCEPT BASEBALL.... I do not understand it)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In August 2015, after a couple years of planning, my best friend and I finally hiked down the Grand Canyon! That was definitely on top of my bucket list! Next, I biked from Orange County to San Francisco along the PCH! And I cannot skip the 6 days backcountry backpacking in the Yosemite National Park!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a queen bed, sleeping bag and air pad! Whatever you take, I take the other one! :-D
