ABOUT ME

From 2013:
Currently I am working part-time as a teaching assistant in a German school and I hope to become a teacher (probably back in the UK but we'll see) in the future! I find the psychology and philosophy behind teaching and learning fascinating!

Now in 2022: I live in Bristol, UK where I cam e5 years ago to train as a secondary school Maths teacher. I have been teaching and working in educational research since then. I am now about to begin a PhD in education (particularly focussed on how we teach about climate change and bring in notions of climate justice) here in Bristol.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I want to meet as many new people as possible because I am in a new country and want to make the most of every opportunity, and hopefully make some good friends along the way!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have used Couchsurfing in the past to meet people and have hosted once, unfortunately I never managed to surf on any of my travels. Because I did not use my account for some time it was de-activated so I have had to start all over again!

At the moment I am very much focussed on learning German so I am very glad to meet people who are happy to listen to my bad German! Likewise I am happy to help people with English!
