My name is Lauren (you can call me Loz)! I'm 26 years old and currently live in Vancouver, Canada. Born in England, grew up in Jersey - I've been in Vancouver for nearly 5 years and am hoping to stay here on a permanent basis... but we'll see!

As far as things go I'm a pretty happy person! :) I'm very easy-going, caring and down-to-earth. I'm the kind of person who'd rather be on a mountain than at the beach. But the beach is nice too ;) I love to create. I love to draw. I love to explore. Fun times and chill thangz, up for it all!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Before I commit to settling I'm eager to travel, see the sights, gain a better understanding of the world I live in, and connect with people all over the world. I plan to go backpacking next year and am hoping to use couch-surfing to meet lots of like-minded people :)

I haven't ever used couchsurfing before, although I made an account many many years ago. Pending on my experiences with it, it's definitely something I'd like to consider doing myself - I'm a firm believer in the saying, 'what goes around comes around'

Hmmmm this is always a hard one to answer!

My music taste is pretty eclectic! But I love surf/psychedelic rock, deep-house music, UK garage, stoner metal, soul hip-hop/r&b, chill beats & electronic..... as long as it's not country or folk... I'm down ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Fun fact: I met the Queen once! Shook her hand and everything...!

I saw a Whale Shark while scuba-diving in Koh Tao, Thailand last year... that was pretty cool

Standing on a glacier as thick as the Eiffel Tower in the Canadian Rockies

To be fair, my travels are yet to truly begin.... watch this space ;)

Teach: Drawing, hand-poke tattooing, vegan cooking, cocktail-making! I'm happy to teach anything if I'm able to!

Learn: I've always wanted to learn how to take good photographs. I have a Canon Rebel DSLR.... and I would LOVE to learn to how to use it haha
