ABOUT ME

I grew up in a small town and went to a university in Missoula Montana. I studied abroad in France for a year at the Universite de Grenoble where I learned a bit of French. I am currently living in Billings, MT working with emotionally disturbed children at an elementary school. I love to do anything outdoors including skiing, hiking, mountaineering, climbing, etc.

life isn't just going to hand you things all the time, sometimes you just have to put your sunglasses on and move forward.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I used couchsurfing as a way to connect and meet people while traveling in Europe. It is such a great way to learn about different kinds of people and cultures . Experiences that would otherwise never happen from staying in a hostel.

Like I said I love the outdoors. I love meeting new people from all over the world. It gives me a new outlook on all different types of people and cultures. However, I love to try new things so my list of interests are endless.

Alvvays, band of horses, horsefeathers, laura marling, the cranberries. I also love movies and films. I love the ones that are controversial, and startling.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

My experience studying abroad for a year is probably at the top of the list. However, being a wild-land firefighter in Montana was also a life-changing experience for me. We work up to 20 hour shifts and the camp out on the fire for weeks straight. there is not doubt it builds character. So I guess being that close to a forest fire is the most amazing thing I have ever seen.
