ABOUT ME

I have a restless mind, but a very calm façade. I got back to my town this january after a long time travelling. I expect receiving couchsurfers will allow me, in a way, to keep travelling, exchanging thoughts and knowledge with interesting people and maybe understanding a bit more why things are the way they are.

PHILOSOPHY

there´s a song by the flaming lips where they sing "all we have is now". It is something that´s hard to assimilate, but I´m trying cause it does seems to be true.

i love classics, old and new. i like movies that search a new way to show those subjects that we are used to see a lot of, movies with an original script, summing up: movies that try harder. My teenage years were spent reading classics like balzac, eça de queirós, dostoievsky. Now i´m reading some travel literature and david foster wallace. Music is my great obsession, I´m always researching new artists and styles to listen to and i´m very curious about traditional music from all over the world.
