CURRENT MISSION
Finding out how to cut my hair by myself
ABOUT ME
Perfect day: wake up, get a tea, and lie on on the couch watching movies all day (it never happens but that would be me if I could =])
I'm a friendly person (with my 8-hour night sleep :P), open to discussions, exploration, crazy stuff and more
I've been learning quite a lot since I started travelling and living abroad a few years back. I met wonderful people that changed me and made be want to met more of them :) Always ready for new challenges, I can't do nothing - some would call that hyperactivity, I don't think so. As I said above, I can be quite lazy. And stubborn, too :P
PHILOSOPHY
Enjoy life, friends and family, 'cause this is the most important thing ever !
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Hamburg, met Kristina who hosted Thomas and me.
Brussels, for Free Hugs day!
Milan, met Majose who hosted Caroline and me.
Copenhagen, where I hosted Jasmin&Simon, Laura, Christian, Alexandra&Fransecso, met Damien, Katarina...
Oslo, where I met Myriam.
Verona with Monika, Vipava at Ales' place, Rijeka with Nela and David :)
It's been always good, each time a different and rich experience, no matter for how long we met !
Intereses
Pretty much like everyone here, I love travelling, and meeeting new people ;)
My dream way of travelling would be: a backpack, a thumb, and get where you get. And go to Mongolia of course. And back to India... and more!
Playing some drums in a batucada (Festimbal) and a bit of guitar. Lately I've been lazy about the latest, I need inspiration I believe. Music is a big part of my daily life, often with headphones on, from The Doors to Tété, very different styles of music go through my ears.
Loved to go to concerts, a bit more tricky here in Bcn as I don't know many local groups, and the ones that I really enjoyed a few years back are mainly touring in France...
Partying & clubbing :D (sometimes, I can't go every day at work with a headache)
Climbing, badminton, squash, hiking, trekking
Cinema (and TV series) are always a great adventure (but you gotta make it live, avoid brainless blockbusters and find what genre or director or actor drives you and make you feel for them)
Photography, learning and editing and playing and willing to learn more of it, always trying to find the good spot and angle and shot
Languages (u never know a country if u don't speak the language of the inhabitants i've heard!, and that must be true): after english, went on with danish, now back with spanish... next is german, catalan or italian ?

Música, películas y libros
I could put an endless list of bands movies and books I like here ...
For the movies, I like almost anything, but not everyhing. As long as the story is entertaining, interesting, wise, funny, or all that, I can only like it. The Guy Ritchie's movies (Snatch, Lock Stock), the old french movies (Les Barbouzes, Les Tontons Flingueurs), horror movies (Romero's ones, Night of the Living Dead), detective movies.
And let's not talk bout tv shows, such as Doctor Who, Lost and X Files, or we'll be here for all night :-)
Same goes for the music, I can listen almost anything. From pop/rock (not the teenage stuff though, my ears can't stand it anymore) to brass bands through jazz ... Take a band like Bumcello (french band with one cello and one drummer, that can improvise during 1.5 hour without having a break and mixing so different kinds of styles ... Enjoyable !), with a pinch of The Mars Volta for the crazy takeoffs, Johnny Cash for the country, a bit of Beastie Boys, and sprinkle it all with some Daft Punk and Le Peuple de l'herbe, and you'll have a good bouquet of music. But there are plenty of others ... could speak about that for hours !
Books ! A superb way of escaping for a while. British humor is quite good in books, like H2G2, but only the first three parts (the two last are ... different). I read quite recently a story of Thursday next, and the book is amazing, transporting you in the book's world. A must :) I started reading some french classics recently, having shamelessly avoided them for long enough =)
Algo increíble que he hecho
The Camino de Santiago, starting from Ponferrada until Santiago de Compostela, alone :) (but not really, I met so many people from all around!)
Enseña, aprende, comparte
Acoustic skills, sound and noise on our everyday life.
Learning guitar, I enjoy being able to make something nice with my hands ! And drums now in a batucada (slowly though).
I love movies, I'm a real fan of cinema, but I really have to learn ;-)
And photography. Editing, playing, shooting, ewird camera angles... After having taken a few classes, I manage to do better stuff. But there is much to learn, so much more :)
