I am a graduate student working on my PhD in History. My research addresses urban renewal, planning, social unrest, and local politics in Mexico during the 1960s and 1970s. I originally grew up in the U.S.-Mexico border region, and I currently live in Chicago.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am recovering the history of my hometown and the people who built it. Fun factoid: I do my research in an old prison and my documents are stored in the old cells.
