ABOUT ME

I'm one of those people who doesn't just say things, I DO THINGS. When I want to get something done, go somewhere or help someone, I find away to make it happen. Currently, I'm a teacher with Teach For America in the Rio Grade Valley.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy can be summed up in a poem that I wrote that I made a tattoo out of:

I hope that I am strong enough to welcome the torture of knowing how unfair the world can be. The moment I ignore it I lose my humanity.

If we are ever going to make progress in this crazy world, we can't ignore what's hard to see, we need to face it and we need to change it.
