ABOUT ME

I am a 31 year old artist, sister, aunt, student, photographer, activist, worker, learner, lover of life. I have a great dog who is terrible but I love him so. I love art, ideas, THINKING, learning and traveling.

I try to live my life with intention and purpose, to be conscious and awake to experience and learn things.

I love hosting other travelers! I met amazing surfers in Italy, France, Spain and Morocco that I now call my friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Love going to c/s meet ups in Denver. I love hosting and have loved every single one of my hosts! Couchsurfing is incredible.

I love art, photography, political theory, our beautiful visual world, music, dancing, laughing, crying, feeling anything really, critical thinking, thinking in general, I think ALL the time, I love thinking. Modern art, post modern art, installation art, all art, socio political commentary, human rights, human interaction, humanity.
Finishing school and saving the world are at the top of my list.

I love film. I probably watch 3+ movies a week. I'll list a few of my favorites from the last couple of months:
L'Auberge Espanole, Gandhi, Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, Baraka, Conejo En La Luna, Art School Confidential, Noam Chomsky: Manufacturing Consent, Waking Life, Volver, Science of Sleep, Sex and Lucia, Running with Scissors, Me You and Everyone We Know.

Love discovering new music, love my old music.

I'm not allowed to read books until school is out, I can be found staying up several days at a time just to finish a book, so I have since banned all books that are not text books, for now....

I know loads about photography and a considerable amount about contemporary artists (ones that inspire me). I have lots of music to share and films to recommend. I am a naturally positive humanistic person, I see the best in people and our world, most of the time, I am absolutely, every day, amazed at incredible things that I see, and I think that state of mind can be contagious.
