During one of my trips, I met a guy pretending the best way to live was to celebrate life everyday. I think he exactly gave some word to what I want deeply in myself. I cannot imagine life by anyother ways.

I guess I'm a bit crazy (but here, who isn't ? You definitly need a part of this lovely sweet madness to register on CS the first time, isn't it ?..). I love to be surrounded by people who are mad to live, mad to talk, desirous of everything at the same time. Those persons do inspire me. When with them, I feel like nothing can never stop us, and this is what life should look like for all of us...

I studied biomechanical engineering. I got that from my childhood. I was a do-it-yourself kid wanting to find a solution to every problem, from the non-starting-up car motor to the find-a-way-to-catch-as-much-as-possible-frogs-at-once. First, I just wanted to design new things. And then, biomechanics came because of the amazing persons I met and the great opportunities I got.
Later, I also wanted to study Law. I started a Licence degree that I couldn't possibly finish because I didn't find the solution yet to split into two and attend 2 courses at the same time. But I'll finish that degree some day (80 yo grand'ma going to university ? Yeah that's a nice futur :D)

I love travelling (I bet you didn't guess it ;P). But I don't like travelling the easy and conventional way. I'd rather sleep under the stars than in a tent. I'd rather eat suspicious street food than go to restaurant. I'd rather hitchhike than take a bus/train/plane. And I want to meet people from everywhere. I want to know their point of view. I love having endless discussions to make the world a better place.

I want to meet people from all around the world.

I love the CS spirit. I am perfectly conscious that things cannot perfectly match with everyone, and I don't expect to find my new best friend in my CS host after few days, but even without having the same leitmotif, I believe that everybody is interesting in his own way and have a lot to bring to me. So, whoever you are, whatever you like, I would really enjoy meeting you :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I can listen to pretty much everything. Rap and hard rock/heavy metal are not really my cup of tea. However, I like discovering and I saw few concerts I truly enjoyed.
Concerning my favorite tastes, as every little sister I was influenced by my big brother and I am sometimes one genereation late... Here are few artists of my playlist : Manu Chao, The Police, Django Reinhardt, Damien Saez, Noir Désir, Tiken Jah, Bob Marley, Adele, Caravan Palace, Selah Sue, Lilly Wood & the Prick, Devendra Banhart, Daft Punk, and lots of unknown electroswing groups !

I don't watch that much movies -no TV at home !-; few ones which left a mark on my life are Gattaca, Her, Miral, The pursuit of Happiness, Midnight express, Requiem for a dream, and of course, The Lion King :)

And I read hundreads of books. Most are from the XIX century and triggered some controversy when published.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

An absolutely not safe bungee jump over a river in Equador for $6 ? A fisrt 1500km hitchhike trip from Warsaw to Bucharest with one of my best friend ? A 7-month hitchhiking trip on my own from Paris to New Delhi ?

Thinks which might sound crazy for some persons are just common things for others. And you just need to try it once to get familiar with it. Try everything you can imagine ! You'll see it's not that unsane ;)

If you meet me when I am in USA, well... Either I am travelling too and we can enjoy discovering new places together, either we meet in the city where I study (College Station, TX), and... well, I don't really know interesting places here so far :P

I have an artistic temperament, I do lots of things like paintings, sculpture, photography... Would be happy to show you how to develop film photography ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I really enjoy having endless and full of unexpected development conversations. If ever you are coming from a country with an uncommon political situation, you could mainly be sure I'll have some questions about it :)
If you are staying couple of days, then we might have enough time to make a dinner at my place with french specialities. And if you feel yourself good enough to cook, I would enjoy tasting few things from the place you're from ;)
And for non-cookers, we can still order some sushi :P

I have some good places in Paris to advise you, I will of course show you the surroundings, and I have tips to give you :)
But, I have to admit that I'm not a specialist of usual tours (I didn't even visit half of the Louvre...). Actually, I rather enjoy unconventional places, the ones which aren't that much touristics, and it could be a pleasure to bring you there... I can take you to the catacombs for a complete night with headlamp and map, or lead you in some old closed down places where I often go to make graffiti art with my friends (...) Let's say it's about unexpected places tourists usually miss ;)
