About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To have a great time - basically to live, love, learn and travel a lot!
ABOUT ME
My name is Lisa, I'm from beautiful Hamburg/Germany and a studied art historian who ended up in the field of public relations.
While studying at university I spent a year in Rome/Italy, such a culturally and historically rich place. When I was 16 I spent a year in the US during high school, living with the best host family in whole Indiana. Would always do it again!
I have been working in an agency for public relations the last four years, now seeking new adventures ... so why not travel around the world? That's exactly what my boyfriend Jens and I are planning to do the next couple months form March on. Let's get this started!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love this place. It is such a neat possibilty to meet new people and have an awesome time travelling foreign countries. I want to get to know the world!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've done some awesome couchsurfing back in 2008 in beautiful Yorkshire/England with my very good friend Andrea. Great hosts and great people! In 2012 I was on vacation in the US, staying in Chicago, having an awesome couchsurfing host. Pretty cool experiences - can't wait to make new ones!
Interests
The arts, movies - the good and the bad ones - , laughing about silly things, the English language, and the Italian, too ..., good exotic food, not taking everything too seriously, fitness, hitting the gym, music, of course travelling ... and having fun!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A very good friend and I travelled the whole German coast of the Baltic Sea by bike in two weeks. It was by far my best travel experience yet. Still so pround of what we achieved: 1100 kilometers with simple bikes, riding every day for two weeks, loads of shitty weather, no training beforehand. Yet so so rewarding: The pain felt great when arriving at night, the landscapes were amazingly und surprisingly beautiful (we're only talking about Germany here, but hey) and the bond of our friendship tightened even more. I also learnt: wherever it goes downhill, it goes uphill again!
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn about foreign cultures, arts, languages, cuisine, traditions. Teach me, guys! :-) I also think I have some experiences to share and stories to tell.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am very open-minded, fun to be with, still easy-going, partly shy and quite, but absolutely willing to share my culture and stories - I mean that's what couchsurfing is all about, right? :-)
