ABOUT ME

Looking for a way to meet interesting people and skip the "touristy" stuff. The best parts of traveling are the people you meet and the memories you make, not the attractions you stand in line for. The best things in life are free, so why pay extra?

I enjoy hiking, mountain biking, beaches, art/design, good music, good food, good wine, and good books. I got my degree in Human-Centered Design (Industrial Design/Product Design), so I love meeting other artists and designers. check out my portfolio website www.laurenstrpko.com

I also teach Les Mills fitness programs (RPM, BodyBalance).

I am doing a bit of traveling at this point in my life because I recently graduated college, and am not quite ready to "settle down".

Design geeks will get a kick out of this: I toured the design archives at Vitra Factory in Weil am Rhein, Germany. They don't let ANYONE in there! It was fantastic- the original mold for the Eames Chaise Lounge, Frank Gehry's protoypes for the Wiggle Chair, etc. etc.
