About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Sharing and experiencing life's hidden treasures
ABOUT ME
While living in central Illinois, I had been unknowingly watched by insane neighbors. Upon later confrontation, they claimed I was a breath of fresh air and morsel of sanity. I've also been told I have a sound mind. My passions lie in art and nature. I'd like to think of myself as a free-spirited being pondering the meaning of life. You tell me.
PHILOSOPHY
Simplify your life. You will be surprised how much crap you really don't need. More clutter equals more headaches. Stay away from drama. And don't forget to push yourself every now and then. I pushed myself a bit and came to France not even knowing the language.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
In the future, I intend on allowing surfers' to stay at my place. This will all come into play when I have a permanent location. Until then, I hope to surf the world and encounter unique people along the way!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The first time I couchsurfed was in Lyon, France. My last minute hosts were in the process of moving and partying the night my friend and I arrived. Despite the circumstances, our hosts were very cordial and helpful during our brief night stay.
Interests
I am interested in meeting unique people who aren't afraid to speak the truth, go on adventures, take risks and simply live. If they happen to have an interest, degree or knack in art then they've already scored some major brownie points. It would honestly be wonderful to have an art exhibition with another surfer. I focus primarily in clay, but I am open to other mediums. Making connections with other artists would be a major plus.
Outside of art I am interested in...
Bikrahm yoga, rollerblading, running, biking, triathlons, gymnastics, volunteering, cooking, hiking, kayaking, photography, boating, fine dining, concert going, sushi, jelly fish, simplifying my life, antiquing, frequenting garage sales and enjoying the present.
