Overview
About Me
Hi!
I am originally from Berlin and I have been living in Gothenburg for 8 years. I am currently working as a tissue imaging scientist at AstraZeneca. I have been traveling quite a bit and it is always fun to meet random people from all over the world :)
I have many interests and like to learn new things, but there is never enough time :P I enjoy the company of easy going people with humor (I like rick and morty). It is good if you can laugh about yourself :)
I am doing a lot of sports like running, slacklining, frisbee etc. I love being outdoors in nature and go hiking. I photograph a lot on my trips and I am constantly trying to improve my skills. I have a little website here: www.lsimwunderland.com
I am also running a microscopy art project: www.intrastruktur.me // @intra_struktur
Otherwise, I really like to cook and bake and even more to eat. I make my own tonic syrup, sour dough bread and the best ginger beer in town. Happy to share if you are interested! I also like playing board games, piano, watching movies and do a bunch of other things with friends. I have a little Gin shelf so good if you enjoy Gin and Tonic!
I live in Kallebäck which is not too far from the city center and it is 15-20 min walk away from the nature reserve which has a big lake. Perfect for running and swimming or just picking some blueberries (July-August) :)
I am happy to give you a place to sleep and some good company. Always great if you enjoy cooking together or share some other activities. I can show you around the city (if I am not working) or at least give you a lot of tips. I have a second bike which you can use. Just drop a message and tell me a bit about yourself and what you are up to in Gothenburg. Whats your favourite drink?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It is a nice way to get to know people when you are new to a place and get some local advice. I like meeting a variety of personalities which you might not meet in your daily life so it broadens your views and makes you thinking and perhaps changing something in your own life as well as in the life of the other person. I have also found super nice people for a road trip in the US, language meetings and people to just go around and explore the city. In the end you might make friends for life or have at least great memories spend together :)
