hi! My name is Lu. The other person on the picture is Sonja and we live together in Cologne -- but sadly can not host travelers at the moment as we're moving out the next few weeks. :(
But meet ups are possible and highly desirable tho!
I am a social work student. In generel I am more of a night person. Long walks trough the dark or just reading comics as well as doing music and meet new fellas. Not that much of a drinking and partying person. But if you want to I am sure I can give you some good recommendations as I work in clubs and bars most of the time. Probably the reason why I don't wanna go if I am free lol.

My girlfriend works as a social worker with kids around the LGBTQI* community. She likes feminism, is an awesome vegan cook and shares my hobby to go crazy about comics.

Yip... Also we both like rap music and "produce" stuff as well. More the DIY political "letsdestroytheworld" rap genre haha. Freestyle Sessions more than welcome!! <3

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In generel we are both open to host people from "wherever your flight started at."
Sadly at the moment we can not do so, as we are moving out and have an almost empty room as well as no time to show you around. We are open to meet ups tho and always happy to help you out with questions or recommendations!

We are moving to another City, not sure where yet, but will update it quickly and hope to meet some of you there (again!)

Another reason:
I traveled a lot the past years but never really had the opportunity to couch surf like I want to.
Either way it ended up paying lots of money for an airBnb** cause no one could host me so spontaneous (thats my fault.. not good in planning things .. ewwww... :D ) or dorm rooms. Whats cool, don't get me wrong.

** we could both tell the creepiest story in our life - with an amazing happy end and a wonderful new friend-> thanks to f*ckng AirBnb.. Not cool at all! But really tho -- thanks for the happy end!

But as we are living together now and want to travel together we both decided to try it this way!
My English is .. I want to say.. it has been worse.. but it has seen better times too ,lol.
Sonja speaks French and sadly didn't learn much English in school or anywhere else. She's learning it right now, all by herself, and does a pretty good job. But - Traveling with other people - speaking different languages - would motivate both of us to not speak in our boring German language, with our ugly (believe me) south western dialect!

AS WELL as - who knows the city best? People live there! We would be so happy to meet you guys and see the city with the emotions/ feelings / storys or whatever locals can tell :-)
