About Me
Beginner traveler who wants to become a great adventurer crossing seas and mountains !!
I discover the joy of travelling with Japan (could have been worst for a first destination) and since...well, travelling is my main concern, and i bought 9 month ago a one way ticket to New Zealand, with a working holiday visa. This amazing time just ended and i just can't stop travelling, and looking for another unknown destination. Right now, my plan is to discover Canada during winter time
So basically, I become a travelling stories eater and like to exchange about it.
At first sight, I could look shy, don't stop to that. Just analyzing the situation, it vanish rapidly ;)
Most of all, I love discovering disorientating new places and sharing it ! Everything i'm stranger to or everything new is great : sports, food, activity, language. That's curiosity, can't help !
INTERESTS :
- Ecology, nature, finding a way to live sustainably
- playing boarding games like Catan, or cards, or dice, or ... Everything as long as it's fun. I'm travelling with a special card set that i made, to play a lot of different games for a minimum space in my backback
- Walking, hiking, running... my feet is the best transport I know so far
- Doing nothing and enjoying it... I'm such a lazy person !!
- Learning non roman languages just for fun : I can read Greek, Japanese and Russian without understanding a single word. Planning to learn thaï and corean alphabet soon
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To experience a place through people who lives in it, in a non touristic way
And of course to share and listen travelling stories, points of view and every other interesting things. The basis : what is obvious for me is certainly not the norm somewhere else

Music, Movies, and Books
MOVIES : I'm a huge movie eater. Love Hollywood movies from before the 70', films about nature and introspection, science fiction, musicals, big old french classics...
To quote names : Kusturica, Miyazaki, and (too) many movies including El abrazo de la serpiente, The blues brothers, 12 angry men, Cat on a hot tin roof, Altered states, Hair, Narayama Bushikô...
MUSIC ? I like all of it, but shame is I can't remember names of artists or tracks, so I'm not a good talker. I prefer learning from people who knows best, or listening randomly ;)
Still, I love classical soundtrack (Morricone, Badalamenti, Hisaishi, Tiersen), old rythm and blues and world music. And Nothing is best for running than a good kitsch Bollywood song !
